The Lone Tree

Lean Times
I suppose it’s a photographic cliché but time and again the lone tree keeps us landscape photographers coming back for more.

Some folk may philosophise in highfalutin tones about the significance of its placement in the frame (usually to the right for me!) and how it symbolises all manner of deep, meaningful and sometimes unfathomable emotions but I won’t do that. No, I just like ‘em!
